Ana Fletcher is a translator and editor. She holds a BA in English from the University of York and an MA in Comparative Literature from UCL. Her translations of short stories and poetry by contemporary Lusophone writers have been published in Granta, Machado de Assis and Wasafiri magazines. She recently translated a selection of letters written by Clarice Lispector to friends and family for the US journal Music & Literature. Ana can also be found editing some of the best literary fiction around for independent publishers And Other Stories. Born and raised in Lisbon, she now lives in Rio de Janeiro.
