Ilze Jansone

Ilze Jansone (born September 11, 1982 in Cesis) is a Latvian writer and theologian. Jansone studied at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Theology. The short story "The Blind Glass" (2006), the novel "Insomnia" (2010), the collection of stories "Umurkums or Humorous Feminism" (2013) and the novel "The Only" (2015). Since 2013, Jansone has participated in the creation of a collection of articles "The Birth of a Woman", compiled a collection of essays "Nation Chronicles" (together with D. Hanov and P. Daiju, 2014).
