Lenka Pitonakova

Lenka Pitonakova is a PhD student at the Southampton University Doctoral Training Centre in Complex Systems Simulation, where she studies biologically inspired swarm intelligence with application to robotics. Her main interest is in discovering general rules for engineering of collective systems capable of performing autonomous tasks such as exploration and item retrieval. Her previous work on a self-configuring, ultrastable neuroendocrine robot controller was published in Adaptive Behaviour in 2013.
