Bipradash Barua

Bipradash Barua was born in 1940 in Chittagong. He did his Masters in Bengali Language and Literature in 1967.  He worked in Bangladesh Shishu Academy for 20 years. Barua published more than 140 books. His celebrated collections of short stories include Sada Coffin, Nadir Naam Ganatantra, Ami Ekti Swapno Kinechilam, Amar Protidondi Ami, Neel Joubon Neel Mrityu, etc. This significant writer has won a numerous awards including the prestigious Bangla Academy Award (1991) and National Ekushey Podok 2014.
