Muharrem Erbey

Muharrem Erbey (b.1969) is a human rights lawyer and former director of the Human Rights Association. He was detained in December 2009 as part of the KCK operation, and was later arrested, along with 23 people, and imprisoned. While in prison, he took part in a hunger strike, and received various awards, and was released after 4 years.
