Omer Dilsoz is a Kurdish writer. He was born in 1978 in the village of Güzereşa Culemêrg. At the age of 23, he published his first novel, Wounded Hopes, and in the following years wrote The Smell of the Earth, The Mirror of the Heart, The Yellow Bear, The Mountains, The Judgment, Let There Be a Word for Me and You, Kundê Dager, Gêjevang and more. He works as a journalist and lives in northern Kurdistan.
