M. John Harrison longlisted for Edge Hill Short Story Prize

It is a great pleasure to announce that M. John Harrison's collection You Should Come With Me Now has made the longlist for this year’s Edge Hill Prize.

Out of over fifty entries, fifteen authors have been chosen, including one previous winner (Sarah Hall), a writer who was on the very first Edge Hill Prize shortlist (Nicholas Royle) and a previously short-listed writer, Tessa Hadley.

The Edge Hill Prize is now the only UK award for a single-authored collection of short stories with a prize of £10,000. The award ceremony will be held on Saturday 3rd November 2018 at Foyles bookshop on Charing Cross Rd, London where it is hoped the shortlisted writers will read from their work.

The 2018 judges will be Paul McVeigh, Alice O’Keefe, Daisy Johnson and Ailsa Cox.
