Masterclasses: Video Lectures on Short Story Pioneers

We're all about spreading the word about how brilliant the short story form is, so Comma invited contemporary short story writers to deliver masterclasses on pioneers of the 19th and early 20th century, specifically on writers who had personally influenced their own writing. An extension of our book Morphologies, where writers critically engaged with their influences and produced a series of essays deconstructing the short story form, from its structure to its origin, we recorded these masterclasses so that they could be be further enjoyed beyond the pages of the book or the rooms in which the events took place.
