Annabel Turpin

Annabel Turpin is Chief Executive of Storyhouse in Chester, one of the UK’s largest arts centres, integrating theatres, cinema and library, and welcoming 900,000+ visitors annually. She is also Co-Director of the Future Arts Centres network, championing arts centres as drivers of social, economic and cultural change. Since 2023, she has chaired Arts Council England’s North Area Council and serves on its National Council. Previously, she led ARC in Stockton-on-Tees for 15 years.
