Azza Sultan

Born in 1974, Azza Sultan is an award-winning journalist, screenwriter, author and occasional film director. Her children's books include Riblat al-hamama al-'ajiba (The Dove's Strange Journey, 1998), and al-Hayawamat al-mariba (The Merry Animals, 1999). She has published four short story collections, including  Imra'a talid rajulaan yushbibuk (A Woman Gives Birth to a Man Who Resembles You, GACP, 1999), and a novel Tadribat fi il-Qaswa (Exercises in Cruelty, 2014) .
