Caroline Croskery

Caroline Croskery is an American Persian-to-English translator. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Iranian Studies from the University of California, and has worked as a language teacher, translator, interpreter and voiceover actor. Caroline lived in Iran for thirteen years between 1985 and 1998, where she taught English and also translated and dubbed Iranian feature films into English. After returning to the US, she began a career as a court interpreter and Persian-to-English translator. Works she has translated include many titles by Houshang Moradi Kermani, including his latest novel You're No Stranger Here, as audiobook as well as hardcopy. She is now a cardiac sonographer and lives in Monterey, California.
