Chris Riddell

Chris Riddell studied at Epsom School of Art and Design and at Brighton Polytechnic under Raymond Briggs. A celebrated political cartoonist for The Economist, The Independent and The Observer, he is also an award-winning children’s author and illustrator, twice winning the Greenaway Medal. His acclaimed works include Ottoline, Goth Girl and the Ghost of a Mouse, and the bestselling Edge Chronicles with Paul Stewart. Renowned for combining classical draughtsmanship with warmth, wit and themes of tolerance, he lives and works in Brighton.
