David Harewood

Graduating from RADA in 1987, David Harewood is a distinguished British actor, writer, director and current President of RADA. Awarded an OBE in 2023 for his services to drama and charity, he is known for his roles in Homeland and Supergirl, alongside vocal advocacy for mental health and racial equality. David has recently finished a run as Othello on the West End, a role he first performed at the National Theatre in 1997, the first black actor to do so. David is the lead in a new Channel 4 drama, Pierre, based in a solicitor’s office, which will air later this year.
