Dewi Kharisma Michellia

Dewi Kharisma Michellia was a reporter and news editor for BPPM Balairung university press (2010-2013), in-house editor for PolGov research and publishing institute (2013-2015), literature editor for Jakartabeat (2013-2015), and co-founded OAK Publishing House. She is also one of the founders of Ruang Perempuan dan Tulisan / Women and Writing Space) in 2018, a space for re-reading the work of women writers in Indonesia. She is currently the literature editor for Ruang, an online journal. Her work includes Surat Panjang Tentang Jarak Kita yang Jutaan Tahun Cahaya A Long Letter About The Million Light Years Between Us (novel, 2013, a runner up for the Jakarta Arts Council’s Novel Writing Competition and shortlisted for Khatulistiwa Literary Award), A Copy of My Mind (a film adaptation novel, 2016) and Elegi / Elegy (short story collection, 2017). Her writing has also been published in Pindai, Asymptote, Koran Tempo, Jawa Pos, Jakartabeat, Media Indonesia, Bali Post, Indoprogress, and Jurnal Perempuan.
