Farzaneh Doosti

Farzaneh Doosti is a professor of English at IAU, Central Tehran, and bilingual translator. Her interests include interdisciplinary and comparative studies, semiotics, narratology, diaspora studies, and Persian literature. She is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Parsagon: The Persian Literature Review. She has won awards at the Tajrobeh Theater Festival (2008), Iran International Festival of University Theater (2008 and 2009), the Book Criticism Festival (2009), and the Abolhassan Najafi Award for Literary Translation (2021). She has translated a number of works by Mohammed Tolouei.
