He Xi

He Xi (何夕), born in 1971, is a renowned Chinese science fiction author recognized as part of the "four heavenly kings" of Chinese sci-fi. He has won the prestigious Galaxy Award 15-17 times and was a 2024 Hugo Award nominee for best novella. His work focuses on macro-science, human nature, and the future. His novels include The Doomed Year, Natural Born Talent, Who am I, Never Meet Again, The Six Paths of Lives, and The Other Realm. In 2024 he was shortlisted for the Hugo Award for Best Novella for Life Does Not Allow Us to Meet.
