Jess Prendergrast

Jess Prendergrast is Chair of Contains Art CIO and a founding Director of Onion Collective CIC – two organisations that in consortium established, built and now run the East Quay arts centre in Watchet Somerset. She combines a background in economics, policy and research with a deep commitment to cultural access, community rootedness and regenerative transformation that seeks to confound what an art centre can be. She writes regularly on culture, community and the next economy.
