Katarina Gephardt

Katarina Gephardt is a professor of English at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, USA. Her research and teaching focus on nineteenth-century British literature, Central European literature, and travel writing. She has published The Idea of Europe in Nineteenth-Century British Travel Narratives, 1789–1914 (Ashgate/Routledge, 2014) and co-edited Home and the World in Slovak Writing: A Small Nation’s Literature in Context (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2025).
