Lidudumalingani Mqombothi

Lidudumalingani (full name Lidudumalingani Mqombothi) was born in the village of Zikhovane in the Eastern Cape, and is a South African writer, filmmaker and photographer. His short story ‘Memories We Lost’ won the 2016 Caine Prize. In 2016 he was also the recipient of a Miles Morland Scholarship.
