Nicholas Serota

Nicholas Serota was appointed Chair of Arts Council England in 2017, following nearly 30 years as Director of Tate, where he oversaw the opening of Tate Modern and Tate St Ives. He also served as Senior Independent Director of the BBC from 2017 to 2025.
