Nick Ahad

Nick Ahad is an award-winning writer, broadcaster and journalist working across TV, theatre and radio. His TV work includes the BBC drama Better and several years writing for Emmerdale. He has written for the stage, including the acclaimed 2024 adaptation of Onjali Q. Rauf ’s The Boy at the Back of the Class, and for the radio, most notably Partition, which was broadcast on BBC radio stations across the country at midnight on 14 August, 2017, to mark 70 years of Indian independence. A radio presenter for over a decade, he has fronted the Nick Ahad Radio Show on BBC Radio Yorkshire and hosted Radio 4’s Front Row.
