Ning Ken
Ning Ken is a novelist, essayist, editor living in Beijing, China. He is the author of four novels, including the 2010 Tian/Zang (Heaven/Tibet), of which Nobel Prize for Literature winner Mo Yan said, “Ning Ken combines keen political critique with penetrating analysis of human nature, and he does so in entirely convincing fashion. Even more importantly, he has created a literary form that is entirely his own.” Ning Ken’s latest novel is Sange sanchongzou (Three Trios, 2015). He also publishes essay collections and non-fiction. He has received many literary awards in China, including Lu Xun Literary Prize and Lao She Literary Prize.
