Yasmine El Rashidi

Yasmine El Rashidi is a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books, and an editor of the Middle East arts quarterly Bidoun. She is the author of The Battle for Egypt: Dispatches from the Revolution and Chronicle of a Last Summer: A Novel of Egypt, and was a Fellow at the Institute for Ideas and Imagination in Paris. She lives in Cairo.
