Europa28: Writing by Women on the Future of Europe at Words Weekend

29 Mar 2020 - 4.30PM

With so many flare-ups of nationalism and isolationism in recent years, there is a sense that Europe needs to be fixed or at the very least profoundly reconfigured. How do you address the grievances of those feeling disenfranchised from Europe? How do you improve social cohesion, or even continue to exist as a democratic transnational entity?

Bringing together 28 acclaimed women writers, artists, scientists and entrepreneurs from across Europe, Europa28 is a powerful and timely anthology looking at an ever-changing Europe from a variety of different perspectives and offers hope and insight into how we might begin to rebuild. Join us at this very special event for a conversation between Europa 28 contributors including authors Janne Teller and Karolina Ramqvist, and co-editor Sophie Hughes, on where we go from here. Further contributors to be announced.
