About the event
As well as being internationally renowned for the legend of Robin Hood, Nottingham has a history of rebellion – from stealing from the rich to give to the poor, to making a stand for the rights of the working classes. Join local writer Rebecca Burns at Nottingham Writers Studio for this 6-month short story course.
Over six sessions, you'll become familiar with short story narrative structures, and be able to apply them to your own work.
By the end of the course you will have
- Become familiar with a range of Short Story forms and voices
- Gained a stronger understanding of how to tell a compelling story, drawing from life experiences
- The necessary skills to progress your Short Story project with confidence
- Benefited from structured, peer-driven feedback and personalised tuition
- Produced up to 3 short stories, one of which will be published in a Comma Press Course E-Book at the end of the course
PLEASE NOTE Classes are capped at 15 places to ensure a high-quality experience.
Price £200.00 per ticket (+Booking Fees) which covers 6x sessions over 6 months including detailed feedback and end of course publication in a short story e-book anthology.
