Lancashire Libraries Launches The North Indie Read Competition
Lancashire City Council has launched The North Indie Read competition in partnership with independent publishers. Publishers from the Northern Fiction Alliance will be spotlighted at Lancashire Libraries alongside other Northern indies. The full list of participating publishers is as follows: Comma Press, Dead Ink Books, Carcanet, Fly on the Wall Press, And Other Stories, Bluemoose Books, Saraband, Bloodaxe Books, Peepal Tree Press, Northodox Press, UCLan Publishing, Big Thinking Publishing and Knives, Forks and Spoons.
Publishers have offered up a host of prizes as part of a monthly prize draw. All you need to do to enter is submit a short review of one of the books on paper, verbally to library staff, or via the library catalogue. Staff will record your review to enter you into the monthly draw!
