The positions have identical job descriptions, as follows:

The Marketing and Production Assistant intern will join Comma at a very busy period. In 2015 we will publish 12+books, launch a digital app and run our first Creative Writing Graduate Careers Fair. With only three permanent staff, the intern will play an important role in fulfilling all these goals to the highest possible standard.

The role will comprise two main strands. The first will involve working closely with the Engagement Manager to research, plan and deliver tailored marketing for each new title, as well as promoting our backlist and helping with the Careers Fair. This will involve connecting with our customers on social media, researching new audiences, creating marketing materials, and helping to organise book events.

The second strand of the role will be to help Comma to produce high quality books and products. The intern will proofread manuscripts, convert book files to eBook files, assist the Digital Manager with our new literary app, and edit audio files.  Full training will be given. Previous publishing experience is not required.

Full information about the role, including the person specification, is available now at your local JobcentrePlus office.  It would be helpful to quote the job reference number when you speak to your Adviser -  LMS reference FTS/163962.  Please note this post is not advertised on Universal Jobmatch.  Please do not send a CV directly to Comma Press.
