Ala’a Obaid

Ala'a Obaid is a cultural facilitator born in Gaza City in 1993. She holds a bachelor's degree in Arabic and is a mother of three children. She has held various positions, including roles as a creative writing facilitator, a library facilitator, and a coordinator for both a communication and media unit and a cultural centre. In addition, she has actively participated in numerous community and voluntary events and initiatives. Ala'a is also a co-author of the book Writing Behind the Lines, published by the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, which presents the experiences and diaries of a group of Palestinian writers in the context of war.
