The Publishing Conference

Comma Press and Manchester Metropolitan University present The Publishing Conference 2021. 

The Publishing Conference is a two-day online event for aspiring and early-career publishers, designed to make publishing more transparent and to increase accessibilty to the sector, particularly for those in the North of England where the conference would usually take place. 

For just £25 (bursaries available – please see below), aspiring and early-career publishers will have access to nine sessions delivered by professionals from across the industry, taking place over two days. This paid part of the conference includes the following presentations and workshop:

Sunday 25th April

Marketing with Alesha Bonser (Penguin Random House Children's), 13.40-14.10

Audio with Marina Stavropoulou (Bonnier Books UK), 14.20-14.50

Starting your own press with Kit Caless (Influx), 15.00-15.30

Workshop: CV and interview skills with Debbie Williams (Publishing @ MMU), 16.00-17.30

Once you have booked your ticket you will be emailed confirmation of your place. You will then be sent Zoom links and any other relevant information to access these sessions the week beginning 19th April.

REFUNDS

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. Refunds will include the ticket price MINUS Eventbrite fees (which consists of the payment processing fee and the service fee combined).
