Voices of Resilience at the Belgrade Theatre
Price: 12.00

About the event
Join us for an evening reflecting upon the resilience of Palestinians in Gaza.
This performance includes extracts from the diaries of four women trapped in the Strip throughout: Nahil Mohana, Sondos Sabra, Ala’a Obaid, Batool Abu Akleen, as well as Atef Abu Saif. These diaries are published in full by Comma Press in Don't Look Left and Voices of Resistance.
This is a performance of testimonies from people experiencing what the ICJ, UN and Amnesty International have described as a plausible or probable case of genocide.
Diary entries will be accompanied by traditional Arabic music performed by Ahmed Adnan and a visual score by Gazan filmmaker Hossam Abo Shamallah. Readers will include Sama Rantisi, Mohammed Ghalayini, Leila Herandi and Julie-Yara Atz.
The event will be followed by a Q&A.
